Apex Legends Season 30 Tier List: Loba, Seer, and the Best Legends and Weapons Right Now

Apex Legends Season 30 has settled into a meta shaped by one big swing: Respawn stripped guaranteed Support and Assault loot bins out of the game, and reworked Bloodhound from the ground up. Both changes rippled through the Legend and weapon tier lists hard enough that builds which were untouchable a few months ago have fallen off, while a few sleeper picks jumped straight to S-tier. Here is where the meta actually sits right now, legend by legend and gun by gun.
Legend Tier List: S-Tier, A-Tier, and B-Tier
The current tier list splits into three clear tiers. S-tier is reserved for Legends who either generate resources for their squad or who simply win fights on their own: Seer, Octane, Alter, Lifeline, Conduit, Mad Maggie, and Loba. A-tier covers strong, viable picks that need slightly more setup or coordination to hit their ceiling: Axle, Revenant, Bloodhound, Pathfinder, Wraith, Gibraltar, Newcastle, Caustic, Fuse, and Catalyst. B-tier (Rampart, Bangalore, Mirage, Vantage, Sparrow, Horizon, Crypto, Valkyrie, Wattson) is still playable, just outclassed in the current meta.

Loba’s jump to S-tier is less about a direct buff and more about the loot overhaul around her. With Respawn removing guaranteed Support and Assault bins from the map, Loba’s Black Market Boutique went from a nice convenience to a structural advantage, since she is now one of the only reliable ways to pull specific gear types on demand. If your squad is running her, let her scout and pull gear early rather than saving the ultimate purely for a last-second escape.
Bloodhound’s rework is the other headline change this season. Their passive, Tracker, now leaves glowing trails on enemies as they move, the tactical Eye of the Allfather got an improved scan range, and the ultimate was completely replaced: Cloak of the Allfather now grants nearby teammates temporary invisibility instead of the old solo-focused Beast of the Hunt. That is a huge team tool in coordinated play, which is exactly why Bloodhound lands in A-tier rather than S — in random squads where nobody calls out the invisibility window, the ultimate’s value drops off fast.

Seer remains the benchmark intel-denial pick. His tactical interrupts healing and reveals enemy position through walls, and his ultimate turns any fight within its radius into a death box for anyone caught moving. Pair him with Loba or Alter for a squad that can both deny information and reposition around it.
Weapon Tier List: S+, S, and A-Tier
Weapons shook up just as much this season. The Kraber and L-STAR anchor S+ tier as Care Package weapons, and the once-floor-loot 30-30 Repeater got pushed into Care Packages too, now hitting 51 body damage with a faster charge and quicker reload — a clear signal Respawn thinks it is too strong for open rotation.

On regular floor loot, the VK-47 Flatline is the best all-around rifle in the game right now. It combines solid damage, strong hip-fire accuracy, and reliable magazine-fed ammo that never runs into the regenerating-ammo delay energy weapons suffer from mid-fight. That last point matters more than it sounds: Nemesis, Havoc, and Volt all excel in short trades but can leave you caught reloading energy cells during a third party, while the Flatline just keeps shooting. Prowler and the C.A.R. SMG also climbed into S-tier on the back of nerfs to their close-range competitors, and Peacekeeper and Wingman remain deadly in the hands of anyone who can land shots consistently.
The Bottom Line
If you are jumping back into Season 30, the short version is: play Loba or Seer if you want an S-tier pick with minimal setup, run Bloodhound only if your squad actually communicates, and pick up a Flatline over an energy rifle every time you have the choice. For sourcing: the Legend tier list reflects the state of the meta roughly a week after the Bloodhound rework per PlayNews, and the weapon breakdown draws on GameRiv’s Season 30 Marked weapon tier list.
