Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 Launches October 23 With a Campaign Set in Asia and a Switch 2 Debut

Activision has confirmed that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 launches on October 23, 2026, for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and, for the first time in series history, Nintendo Switch 2. The game is already the number one best-selling title on Steam ahead of its own launch, with a Steam beta app live now for wishlisting and pre-loading.
A Global Invasion, and a New Platform
Modern Warfare 4’s campaign is set in Asia, where a North Korean offensive escalates into a global invasion, continuing the rebooted Modern Warfare storyline. The package includes a full multiplayer suite alongside a returning DMZ-style extraction mode, giving players both traditional versus playlists and a larger open-world option at launch.
With launch day days away, now is the time to stock up: Dragon4Deals carries Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 PC for players catching up on the series, plus Xbox Live Gift Card (US) and PSN Gift Card (US) for grabbing Modern Warfare 4 and its Vault Edition content on console. See the official listing on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4’s Steam page for pre-load details.
