Crimson Desert’s Charting the Unknown Update Expands Pywel on PC, PS5, and Xbox
A New Region Joins Pearl Abyss' Open World
Crimson Desert’s Charting the Unknown update went live on October 29, 2026, expanding Pearl Abyss’ open-world action RPG with a new region called Pywel. The content had originally been pencilled in for an earlier date, but Pearl Abyss pushed the release back slightly to give the new area extra polish before launch.
Available Across PC, PlayStation, and Xbox
Crimson Desert launched earlier in 2026 on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S (with a Mac version also available), and the Charting the Unknown content is live now for existing players on every platform the game supports, letting players pick up the open-world adventure of protagonist Macduff and the Pyr Clan with fresh ground to explore.
Where to Buy
Crimson Desert is available now on the official Steam store page for PC, alongside PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. Topping up before you dive into Pywel? Grab a Steam Wallet Code (US), a PSN Gift Card (US), or an Xbox Live Gift Card (US) at Dragon4Deals.
