Ghost Ship Games’ co-op mining shooter is turning the Space Rig’s Abyss Bar into a full beer hall for the occasion, complete with checkered tablecloths, fancy pretzels, and a new seasonal hat to grind for.
What's New in Rocktoberfest 2026
The headline reward this year is the Freihand Tap Cap, a brand-new hat exclusive to the 2026 run of the event. Dwarves who missed previous years can also pick up the classic Lederhosen for the first time, alongside hats from earlier Rocktoberfest celebrations that are returning for anyone who never unlocked them.
The event’s central mechanic is the Wurst Stein mug: drop one off at the Abyss Bar before a mission, and everyone on the team earns double experience points for that specific dive. It is a simple, social way to speed up leveling that rewards squads who remember to grab a mug before heading down the drop pod.
How to Get the Rewards
To unlock the new cosmetics, players need to complete the 2026 Rocktoberfest Assignment, which also grants access to cosmetic rewards from previous editions of the event for anyone still catching up on their hat collection.
