Mycopunk Launches Out of Early Access on October 20, Bringing Full Co-Op Chaos to Steam
Devolver Digital and developer Pigeons at Play have confirmed that Mycopunk is leaving Steam Early Access on October 20, 2026, launching its full 1.0 version simultaneously on PC and PS5. Mycopunk is a colorful sci-fi co-op shooter that puts squads of up to four scrappy robot “rejects” through highly customizable missions against a spreading fungal menace, mixing fast first-person combat with deep loadout and chassis tinkering between runs.
A Full Co-Op Overhaul for Launch Day
The 1.0 release caps off a strong run in Early Access, during which Mycopunk built a following around its over-the-top weapon customization and chaotic four-player missions. Launch day brings an expanded mission roster, deeper progression and gear-upgrade systems, and new weapons and robotic chassis on top of what Early Access players have been testing, according to Mycopunk’s official Steam store page.
