Silver Pines Launches October 8, Bringing a Twin Peaks-Style Horror Metroidvania to PC and Consoles

Team17 is bringing a different kind of horror to shelves this week. Silver Pines, a Lynchian, Twin Peaks-inspired survival horror metroidvania, launches October 8, 2026 on PC via Steam, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch. The PC version is already confirmed Steam Deck Verified, so the trip into its fog-choked Pacific Northwest town works just as well docked as it does on the go.
A small town that turns hostile after dark
Silver Pines leans hard into the David Lynch influence its name suggests: a small mountain town that looks idyllic in daylight and turns hostile the moment the sun drops. The game blends survival horror’s resource tension with metroidvania-style exploration, locked paths, and gradual power gains as players piece together what happened to the town’s missing residents. Team17 has been teasing the project since its original 2025 reveal, and the studio behind it has leaned on the comparison to Twin Peaks and Alan Wake in nearly every preview since.
Where to play it and what it costs
Silver Pines is priced at $22.49 on Steam at launch, with a free demo and a separate artbook and soundtrack also listed on the store page. It arrives day one on Xbox Series X|S, PS5, and Switch alongside the PC release, so whichever platform you’re on, October 8 is the day to jump in.
