SiN Reloaded Launches September 24 With a Fully Remastered 1998 FPS Classic
Nightdive Studios and original developer Ritual Entertainment are bringing SiN Reloaded to PC and consoles on September 24, a full remaster of the 1998 first-person shooter that Nightdive quietly shelved and then re-announced earlier this year. Published by Nightdive and Atari, it is one of several late-90s shooter revivals the studio has shipped in the last few years.

What's in the Remaster
SiN Reloaded is built on Nightdive’s KEX Engine, the same tech behind its System Shock and Turok remasters, and supports resolutions up to 4K at 144 FPS. The studio describes it as “a completely remastered experience of the 1998 shooter” featuring the original’s “memorable characters, horrific enemies, and a devastating arsenal that pushed the Quake II Engine to its limits,” now paired with modernized controls and updated visuals. The release also bundles the bonus Wages of Sin mission pack, so players get the full campaign expansion alongside the base game on day one.
Also Coming to Switch and Switch 2
SiN Reloaded is also confirmed for both Nintendo Switch and Switch 2, continuing Nightdive’s push to bring its remaster catalog to Nintendo hardware. It is rated M for Mature for violence, blood and gore, sexual themes, nudity, strong language, and drug references, so this is squarely an adults-only revival rather than a family-friendly retro repackage.
SiN Reloaded launches September 24 on Steam, PlayStation, Xbox, and Switch. If you want to pick it up day one, check out a Steam Wallet Code (US) or a Nintendo eShop Card (US) at Dragon4Deals.
