Battlefield 6 Season 5 “Siege of Vegas” Adds Vegas Strip, Area 51, and an Anti-Air Overhaul

Battlefield 6’s fifth season, Siege of Vegas, went live on October 13, 2026 through update 2.1.1.0. The headline additions are two new multiplayer maps built around Las Vegas — a neon-lit Vegas Strip map and a reimagined Area 51 — plus a community-requested overhaul of anti-air weapons and a fresh batch of guns. You can grab Battlefield 6 and browse the full patch notes on its official Steam store page.
Two New Maps: Vegas Strip and Area 51
The Vegas Strip map turns the Strip’s casinos and high-rises into a vertical, destruction-heavy battleground, while the Area 51 map leans into the series’ love of conspiracy-themed set pieces with hangars and restricted desert terrain. EA previewed the season with a “Siege of Vegas Incoming” community update on September 30 that promised an early look at REDSEC changes alongside the new maps, and Season 5’s roadmap page on EA’s site lays out the rest of the content planned to follow throughout the season.
Anti-Air Rework and New Weapons
Update 2.1.1.0 also reworks anti-air gameplay, a change the community has been asking for since launch, to make vehicle play feel less one-sided on both the ground and in the air. The patch adds new weapons to the Season 5 unlock track and folds in the usual round of weapon balance tuning. Players who want to jump back in for the new maps can top up with a Steam Wallet Code (US) for the PC version, or an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription on console.
What's Next for Season 5
Season 5 is scheduled to keep adding content through the rest of 2026, following the same post-launch cadence that has kept Battlefield 6 near the top of Steam’s player charts since release. For more shooters and deals worth checking out this week, browse Dragon4Deals’ Action category.
