Black Ops 7’s Season 6 meta has settled into a clear pecking order. You can browse every weapon’s full stat breakdown on the official Call of Duty Steam store page.
Best Assault Rifles
Maddox RFB — #1 AR. Optic: Lethal Tools ELO. Muzzle: VAS 5.56 Suppressor. Barrel: 24″ Assemblage Barrel. Underbarrel: H-Lock Foregrip. Rear Grip: Hallux Mix Grip. This build trades a little handling for a flatter recoil pattern that keeps every burst on target past 40 meters.
M15 Mod 0 — #2 AR. Muzzle: VAS 5.56 Suppressor. Barrel: 16.5″ Fusion Barrel. Underbarrel: Ironhold Angled Grip. Rear Grip: Contour Grip. Stock: Wander-3V Stock. Unlocked from the jump, it has a 315ms time-to-kill out to 46 meters and noticeably lighter recoil than the Maddox, making it the easier of the two to learn.
Peacekeeper MK1 — #6 AR, flex pick. Optic: Lethal Tools ELO. Muzzle: K&S Brake-2B. Barrel: 21″ DF-3 Merge Barrel. Underbarrel: EAM Steady-90 Grip. Magazine: Vulcan Reach Extension. Rear Grip: Kinetic-Mk1 Grip. Stock: Swift-B Guard Stock. Fire Mod: Buffer Spring. A strong pick if you want more range than the M15 without the Maddox’s steeper recoil.
Best SMG
Dravec 45 — #4 overall, top SMG. Optic: Lethal Tools ELO. Muzzle: Hawker Stabilizer MK. II. Barrel: 18″ Jetstream Barrel. Rear Grip: QuikArm Grip. Fire Mod: Accelerated Recoil System. It was nerfed around launch but still controls tightly in close quarters and loses less damage at range than most SMGs, so it holds up on mid-sized maps too.
Best Marksman Rifle
M8A1 — #5 overall, top marksman rifle. Optic: Lethal Tools ELO. Muzzle: VAS 5.56 Suppressor. Barrel: 21″ Frontline Barrel. Underbarrel: Envoy Foregrip. Fire Mod: Buffer Spring. Two-shot bursts that kill fast at close-to-medium range, built to bridge the gap between an AR and a sniper for players who like to hang back slightly.
