Black Ops 7 Season 6 Weapon Tier List: The Best Guns and Loadouts Right Now
Black Ops 7 Season 6 is Treyarch’s last major post-launch patch before attention shifts to the next title, and after several balance passes the weapon meta has settled into a clear picture. Here is the current S, A, and B tier breakdown, plus full loadouts for the top three guns.

S-Tier: Win Fights at Every Range
Peacekeeper Mk1 (Assault Rifle), Dravec 45 (SMG), and Razor 9mm (SMG) headline S-tier, with the M15 Mod 0 and AK-27 close behind as the strongest mid-range rifle options. These weapons stay controllable under pressure and consistently win fights at multiple ranges, which is why they dominate both Ranked Play and public lobbies this season. The Season 6 patch also buffed the AK-27’s Battle-Scar Conversion Kit with +11% critical damage and reduced recoil, keeping it a viable alternative if you want a change of pace from the Peacekeeper.

A-Tier and the Echo 12 Nerf
M8A1 (Marksman Rifle) and M10 Breacher (Shotgun) round out a strong A-tier for players who want range flexibility or a dedicated close-quarters option. The one weapon to avoid this season is the Echo 12, which got hit hard in the Season 6 balance pass — its clip size was cut from 24 to 12, stock ammo from 96 to 48, and max ammo from 120 to 60, with its explosion radius and damage also reduced. If you were running Echo 12 loadouts before this patch, it is time to switch.

B-Tier: Still Playable, Just Outclassed
B-tier is where you will find guns that still function but lose to the S-tier picks in a straight fight: the MPC-25 (SMG) is a solid secondary option but is outgunned by the Dravec 45 and Razor 9mm at the same ranges, the VS Recon (Sniper Rifle) remains a capable one-shot option for players who prefer slower, more deliberate play, and the MK.78 (LMG) offers strong sustained fire for objective-holding but suffers from slower mobility than the current meta SMGs. None of these are bad choices, but if you want to climb Ranked efficiently this season, the S-tier loadouts below are the more reliable pick.
Top Loadouts
Peacekeeper Mk1 — Optic: Lethal Tools ELO; Muzzle: Muzzle Brake; Barrel: Short Barrel; Rear Grip: Mobile Quickdraw Grip; Stock: ADS Movement Stock. Best used at mid-range with pre-aimed angles and objective anchoring.
Dravec 45 — Muzzle: Bowen .45 Suppressor; Barrel: 19″ EAM Horizon Barrel; Rear Grip: Herald-Z1 Grip; Stock: Serval Q-Step Stock; Fire Mod: Accelerated Recoil System. A close-range monster in corridors and buildings — avoid forcing it into long sightlines.
Razor 9mm — Optic: Lethal Tools ELO; Muzzle: H-9MM Precision Comp; Barrel: 13″ RL-Genesys Barrel; Underbarrel: Lateral Precision Grip; Magazine: Strikeface Extended Mag I; Rear Grip: EAM Pushback Grip; Laser: EMT3 Agile Laser. Extremely high RPM up close, but kick control and range are its tradeoffs.

Beyond Weapons: What Else Changed in Season 6
Season 6 also brought Vulture Aid changes so ammo drops now partially refill your alternate weapon’s ammo, and Ranked Play got new scoring rules: losing or finishing 5th-8th now costs an extra 10-40 SR, while outscoring a much higher-ranked opponent can net up to +40 SR. The Ranked map pool also gets Exposure back in rotation, giving players another map to practice their S-tier loadouts on. Combined, these changes make Season 6 a good time to lock in a consistent loadout and grind for rank before the next major title takes over.
Black Ops 7 is available on Steam as well as Xbox and PlayStation. Dragon4Deals carries Xbox gift cards, PlayStation Network cards, and Steam Wallet Codes (US) if you need to grab Battle Pass tiers or COD Points on any platform.
