Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse launched on October 15, 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam, with a Nintendo Switch version confirmed for later in 2026. Developed jointly by Konami, Evil Empire, and Motion Twin, it’s the series’ first major new entry in years and puts a new Belmont front and center.

A New Belmont Hunts Through Paris

Belmont’s Curse is an exploration-driven 2D action game set in Paris in 1499, twenty-three years after the events of Castlevania III. Players control Rose Belmont, Trevor Belmont’s daughter, as she wields the sacred whip Vampire Killer and a growing arsenal of sub-weapons and skills to fight through the burning streets of Paris, the catacombs beneath the city, and Dracula’s castle itself. The game’s key art comes from manga artist Katsuya Terada, and its cast includes Dracula, The Fallen, Joan of Arc, Medusa, Isaac, Carmilla, and Death.

Pre-ordering unlocks an Alucard-style costume, while the Midnight Edition Bundle adds a 71-track digital Sound & Art Gallery along with the Traverse Style Costume, Cipher Style Costume, and a Family Portrait item.
