Apex Legends Season 30 Marked Tier List: The Best Legends to Play Right Now

Apex Legends Season 30: Marked has reshuffled the Legend meta again, with buffs to recon and support picks and a reduction in high-tier ground loot that changes how item-access Legends perform. Here’s our full tier list for the current season, covering every Legend from must-pick S-Tier to the Legends you should probably leave in the lobby.
S-Tier: Bloodhound, Loba, Alter, Conduit, Bangalore, and Axle

Bloodhound is the biggest winner of the Season 30 update. Their refreshed Tactical gives far more consistent enemy tracking, and the new Allfather’s Cloak upgrade enables ambushes, fast rotations, revives, and escapes through camouflage, threat vision, and a burst of movement speed — making them an easy top pick for any squad that wants information.

Loba climbs into S-Tier thanks to a bracelet that travels farther and faster, plus a Black Market Boutique cooldown cut from 150 to 120 seconds. With Season 30 trimming high-tier ground loot across the map, Loba’s guaranteed item access is more valuable than ever. Alter, Conduit, and Bangalore round out the top tier as dependable picks for repositioning, squad survivability, and team utility, while Axle holds on despite Tactical and Ultimate nerfs, since her team-wide movement tech is still too strong to pass up.

Conduit remains one of the best support Legends in the game this season. Her ability to pulse team shield regen and slow nearby enemies lets aggressive squads disengage from bad fights and reset for a second push, which is exactly the kind of utility that wins ranked lobbies.
A-Tier: Reliable Picks
A-Tier: Pathfinder, Octane, Valkyrie, Seer, Mad Maggie, Lifeline, Sparrow, Fuse, Crypto, and Rampart. Rampart is this season’s standout riser, moving up to A-Tier after improvements to her walls and Sheila’s mobility made her setup faster and far harder to punish in early and mid-game fights. Pathfinder and Octane remain premier mobility picks, while Mad Maggie and Fuse bring the pressure needed to dig entrenched teams out of buildings.
B-Tier and C-Tier: Situational and Skippable
B-Tier: Gibraltar, Revenant, Vantage, Horizon, Newcastle, Ballistic, Wraith, Ash, Wattson, and Caustic. Gibraltar, Newcastle, Wattson, and Caustic still excel at holding a position, while Revenant, Horizon, Wraith, and Ash suit a more aggressive playstyle but ask more of the player to perform.
C-Tier: Mirage and Catalyst. Mirage can confuse opponents and revive teammates under cover, but he falls off hard against coordinated squads. Catalyst can wall off buildings and slow a push, but her kit offers less raw value than the defensive and rotational Legends above her.
Best Weapon Pairings for Season 30
Season 30’s trimmed ground loot makes ammo economy part of the meta too. Energy weapons got a quiet buff: the Volt SMG, Havoc, and Nemesis now carry extra reserve ammo that slowly regenerates whenever you aren’t firing or reloading, so Energy loadouts stay topped up even with less loot on the ground. The 30-30 Repeater is also worth grabbing from care packages this season after a straight damage buff from 43 to 51 and a faster 0.25-second ADS charge time, making it a legitimate one-shot-potential pick rather than a situational pickup. Pair an Energy primary with the 30-30 as your care-package weapon for a loadout built around Season 30’s slower loot pace.
