Enshrouded’s 1.0 Launch Brings Keen Games’ Survival Epic Out of Early Access on PC and PS5

After more than two and a half years in Early Access, Enshrouded officially launched its 1.0 version on October 15, 2026, bringing Keen Games’ voxel-based survival adventure to PC and PlayStation 5 as a complete release. The Xbox Series X|S version is still being finished and is now planned for spring 2027.
A Co-Op Survival Epic Built on Terraforming
Enshrouded drops up to 16 players into a voxel world blanketed by a deadly, memory-stealing mist known as the Shroud. Players terraform the landscape, build bases ranging from humble camps to recreations of famous castles, craft weapons and armor, and push back the Shroud by lighting Flame Altars scattered across the map.
Since entering Early Access in January 2024, Keen Games shipped eight major content updates adding three new biomes (each with its own monsters), new weapons, armor, creatures, base materials, and decorations, plus a dynamic water system the studio calls a major technical milestone for a voxel-based game. The 1.0 release folds all of that into a single, complete adventure and the developer has said more content is planned for years to come.
