A New Chapter for the Bureau

Remedy Entertainment’s long-in-development sequel to Control is almost here. CONTROL Resonant launches worldwide on September 24, 2026 across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, and Mac later this year, with GeForce NOW cloud support available at launch. Remedy is calling it the studio’s “most expansive game to date,” built on an evolved version of the Northlight engine that powered the original Control and Alan Wake 2.

Dylan Faden Steps Into the Bureau

The sequel hands the wheel to Dylan Faden, brother of original protagonist Jesse Faden, as he confronts “a growing supernatural crisis” tearing through Manhattan. According to Remedy, a new form of resonance layered on top of the returning Hiss and Mold threats is warping reality itself as a mysterious cosmic force reshapes the city. With Jesse missing, Dylan steps up as humanity’s last line of defense, inheriting the Bureau’s fight against the paranatural on a much larger scale than the original game’s Oldest House.

Digital and physical pre-orders are open now ahead of the September 24 release, and Remedy has released a story trailer detailing Dylan’s journey through the reshaped city. Check pricing and platform options on the official CONTROL Resonant Steam page before launch day.
