EA Sports FC 27’s Title Update 1.1.0 Overhauls Career Mode and Ultimate Team
EA has pushed out Title Update 1.1.0 for EA Sports FC 27, the game’s first major update since launch. EA previewed the patch on October 26, 2026, and it went live the next day across the game’s platforms, touching Career Mode, Ultimate Team, the Grounds, and general stability — with EA confirming a separate gameplay-focused developer update is coming the following week.
Career Mode Gets Deeper Rivalries
Player Career now supports two new rivalry objective types — Consistency Rivalries and Match Limit Rivalries — alongside a visual refresh for the Team Management screen. Manager Career saves also gained retroactive flexibility: settings for Press Conference frequency and Unexpected Events can now be adjusted on a save that’s already in progress, rather than being locked in at creation. EA bundled in a long list of transfer, contract, scouting, and squad-management fixes as well.
Ultimate Team and The Grounds
Ultimate Team’s Squad Building Challenges now keep a player’s chosen filters applied across multiple SBCs in the same session instead of resetting each time, pack openings move faster, and goal net colors finally preview correctly before kickoff. EA also cleared out a backlog of Gallery, Transfer Market, and Evolution bugs. The Grounds — FC 27’s small-sided mode hub — picked up matchmaking and Live Events fixes, plus specific corrections for Bucket Ball, Bocce Ball, and Street Football.
Stability and PC Fixes
On the technical side, 1.1.0 fixes a tutorial softlock some players hit on first boot, an unresponsive mouse cursor for PC goalkeepers, and several windowed-mode and graphics issues specific to PC. A new Claim All button was also added to objective screens to cut down on menu clicking. EA Sports FC 27 is on Steam now if you haven’t picked it up, and a Steam Wallet Code covers it — and Ultimate Team packs — without needing a card on file. Console players can top up the same way through PlayStation Network credit, and there’s a full Sports section of the store if FC 27 has you in the mood for more.
