Arrowhead Game Studios rolled out the Ironclad Democracy Warbond for Helldivers 2 on September 22, 2026, and it leans hard into heavier, more explosive tools for Super Earth’s finest. Between a pump-action grenade launcher, a homing anti-tank grenade, and a full heavy-armor set, this is one of the more combat-focused Warbonds Arrowhead has shipped this year.
New Weapons and Throwables
The new primary weapons headline the release. The AR-11 Arbitrator is an assault rifle with an electrical firing mechanism that fires caseless rounds in rapid succession, and it comes with an underslung shotgun for close-range variety. The GL-15 Evictor is a pump-action grenade launcher built for area-of-effect damage, trading rate of fire for a manual single-round reload. On the secondary side, the P-34 Breacher is a missile pistol running on phosphorous fuel, giving you an explosive option in your holster for emergencies.
Throwables round out the offensive kit: the G-60 Anti-Tank Seeker is a smart grenade drone that homes in on armored vehicles, and the G-8 Immolation grenade blankets an area in flame for denial and crowd control.
New Armor and Cosmetics
On the defensive side, the Warbond adds two armor sets: the light BFM-16 Tanker, which includes acoustic dampeners, and the heavy BFM-220 Ironclad, which comes with servo-bracing and a blast-shield collar. Both sets can roll the new Blunt-Force Mitigation armor passive, which cuts impact damage by 30% and adds knockdown resistance — a solid pick for divers who keep getting rag-dolled by explosions.
Cosmetic and quality-of-life extras include two new capes (Standard of Rapid Evacuation and Shroud of The Juggernaut), the Integrated Extinguishers and Surplus EAT Allocation boosters (the latter grants two free Expendable Anti-Tank uses per mission), a new emote, player cards, the “Treadhead” title, and three Tank-exclusive camo patterns: Verdant, Glacial, and Executive Onyx.
