Total War: Warhammer III’s Lords of the End Times Is Out Now, Bringing Nagash and Three Other Legendary Lords
Total War: Warhammer III’s Lords of the End Times launched on September 24, 2026, and Creative Assembly is calling it the biggest DLC in the series’ history: four new Legendary Lords, eight Legendary Heroes, five additional Lords and Heroes, 23 battle units, and 12 Regiments of Renown, all built around the apocalyptic End Times storyline from the Warhammer Fantasy tabletop lore.
Four Legendary Lords Join the Paid DLC
The paid pack adds Nagash, Supreme Lord of the Undead, alongside Boris Todbringer for the Empire, Grey Seer Thanquol for the Skaven, and The Glottkin for the forces of Chaos. Each lord brings faction-specific units to the roster, including Verminlord war engines for the Skaven and the Celestial Hurricanum for Empire armies. Notably, buying any Lords of the End Times content unlocks the Immortal Empires campaign map outright, so newcomers no longer need to own the earlier Total War: Warhammer games to play the series’ flagship sandbox mode.
A Free Update Brings Neferata to Every Player
Everyone who owns Total War: Warhammer III gets a substantial free update alongside the DLC. Neferata, the Vampire Queen, joins as a complimentary Legendary Lord, arriving with a broad overhaul of the Vampire Counts’ core campaign mechanics. Archaon the Everchosen also picks up expanded campaign systems, and three new endgame scenarios, Chaos Invasion, Vermintide, and Nagash Rises, give every Immortal Empires campaign a proper End Times climax regardless of which faction you’re playing.
