Zenless Zone Zero’s Version 3.3 “Journey to the Sky” Brings Two New S-Rank Agents and a Mech Combat Mode
HoYoverse rolled out Zenless Zone Zero version 3.3, subtitled \”Journey to the Sky,\” on October 21, continuing the game’s Season 3 arc on the floating city of Roscaelifer. The update is split into two content phases and headlines two brand-new S-Rank agents, alongside a mech-based combat mode that is a first for the game’s main story.
Phoenix Leads the First Half of 3.3
Phoenix, a Fire-element Anomaly specialist, headlines the first phase of version 3.3 alongside her signature W-Engine, \”Plume of Rebirth.\” Returning banners in this phase bring back Velina and her \”Joyau Doré\” W-Engine for players who missed her the first time around. The patch also adds a new main story chapter built around mech combat on Roscaelifer, plus the limited-time \”Night of Supernatural Tricks\” event at Lumina Square.
Severian Arrives Mid-Patch on November 11
The second half of 3.3 is where things get interesting for Steam players checking in this week: Severian, a Wind-element Attack agent, is scheduled to join the roster around November 11 with his own W-Engine, \”Incarcerating Grip.\” He arrives alongside a returning banner for Norma and her \”Chief Sidekick\” W-Engine. HoYoverse is also running a limited-time 30%-off bundle on two Phoenix outfits, and Severian’s own outfit, \”Solemnly Impeccable,\” launches together with his banner.
Still a Fairly New Face on Steam
Zenless Zone Zero only added a same-day Steam release starting with version 3.0 back in June, so 3.3 is still early in its life as a PC storefront title. Login rewards for the current patch include a batch of encrypted Master Tapes and Boopons, HoYoverse’s in-game currencies, for players logging in during the event window.
