Diablo 4’s fifteenth season, Season of Hell’s Legacy, kicked off on September 15, 2026, and the endgame meta has settled into a clear top tier. Here’s how every class and build stacks up right now, plus what to level if you’re chasing the smoothest path through Pit pushes and helltide farming. You can check current pricing on the official Diablo IV Steam store page.
S-Tier Builds
Warlock — Blazing Scream / Apocalypse. The newest class continues to dominate Season 15, stacking burn damage-over-time with Apocalypse’s area wipe for some of the fastest Pit clears in the game.
Rogue — Penetrating Shot (Poison) / Dance of Knives. A poison-stacking ranged build that melts single targets and bosses alike, with Dance of Knives covering crowd control when things get messy.
Barbarian — Charge / Whirlwind. Still the most forgiving S-tier pick for players who want to gear up fast and farm without fiddling with a complicated rotation.

A-Tier: Spiritborn
Spiritborn — Pestilent (Poison Swarm), Stinger, Quill Volley, Storm Feather Evade. Spiritborn remains strong a full season after its debut, with the Pestilent evolution giving it some of the best sustained poison damage-over-time in the game, just a notch below the S-tier trio for raw clear speed.

B-Tier: Sorcerer and Necromancer
Sorcerer — Firewall DoT, Ball Lightning, or Frozen Orb. Still capable of high single-target damage, but less forgiving to gear and more fragile than the classes above it.
Necromancer — Shadow DoT, Blood Wave, or Minion. A reliable pick for leveling and casual Helltide farming, though it trails the top tiers in pure Pit-pushing speed this season.
