Diablo 4 Season 15, \”Hell’s Legacy,\” resets the class hierarchy hard. After two seasons on the sidelines, Diablo IV’s newer classes take the top of the meta, while a few long-time favorites get pushed down by resource-cost changes. Here’s where every class lands for Season 15, based on early Pit-pushing and speedrun data.

S-Tier: Warlock — Blazing Scream / Apocalypse

Warlock is the story of Season 15. \”After lying dormant for two seasons, Warlock is finally set to dominate,\” and the numbers back it up. The Blazing Scream build stacks critical-hit bonuses and continuous damage that snowballs with every kill, making it one of the smoothest clear-speed builds in the game right now. Players chasing raw Pit depth instead lean on the Apocalypse variant, which pairs the Flesh of Abbadon and Ritual of the Nameless sets for a reported 200x damage multiplier in the right gear.

S-Tier: Paladin — Shield of Retribution

Paladin’s Castle skill line took a nerf this patch, but the class as a whole comes out ahead. The Shield of Retribution build centers on the Ward of the White Dove unique and a stacking aura system: its three-piece set bonus grants damage reduction, upgrades the player’s auras, and removes Faith consumption entirely, letting Paladins tank Pit bosses while still dealing S-tier damage.

A-Tier: Druid, Necromancer, Sorcerer, Rogue, Spiritborn, and Barbarian

Druid (Rabies) pairs the Rabies and Bear Form skills with Storm skills and the Hero of the Storm toggle; Golden Epiphany, the Might of the Den Mother three-piece, and the Blood-Mad Idol’s 200% damage multiplier carry the build, with Soul Splinters offsetting the extra incoming damage. Necromancer (Bone Spirit) converts damage through Bone Spirit, backed by Golem support, Scent of Death, and Frailty; Leoric’s Crown boosts the burst, and the set’s two-piece into Diamond Mine unlocks a three-piece bonus, with five pieces buffing Desecration and Terror damage further.

Sorcerer (Firewall Meteor) remains fire-dominant this season — Frozen Orb buffs still aren’t enough to make Cold competitive — combining Firewall and Meteor with Air Burst resource generation, the Habacalva’s Cauldron set, Blood-Mad Idol, and Leoric’s Crown. Rogue (Rain of Arrows) is an easy, familiar clear-speed build made significantly cheaper to gear this season, since the Melted Heart of Selig unique now grants a 200% primary-resource bonus; Fist of Fate and Signet of Pelgain round out the mythic slots. Spiritborn (Counter Swarm) hits hardest of all thanks to Harmony of Aethelwulf, but the Tzic rune currently appears to be bugged and overtuned, so expect a mid-season nerf. Barbarian (Charge) still leans on Edgemaster’s Aspect and a heavily-nerfed Ramaladni’s Magnum Opus; Fury now costs a percentage of the max pool rather than a flat amount, so players finding Charge too expensive should fall back to Rend or Whirlwind instead.
