Rainbow Six Siege Operator Tier List: Y11S3 Operation Split Fire Rankings

Operation Split Fire shook up more than just the new-operator slot. Between the Dokkaebi nerf, a quietly stronger Lion, and Noor settling into the meta, several Rainbow Six Siege picks have moved tiers this season. Here’s the current Y11S3 breakdown for both sides of the map.
S-Tier Attackers

Ace is the most well-rounded hard breacher in the game right now: his S.E.L.M.A. Aqua Breacher clears electronic defenses from a safe distance without needing Thatcher’s support on easier setups, and his AK-12 gives him real gunfight potential most support attackers lack. Thatcher stays a auto-ban — his EMP Grenades shut down Kaid, Bandit, and Mute setups, so picking him when he’s open is close to free value. Lion got a quiet buff this season: a shorter EE-ONE-D scan warning window forces defenders into narrower reaction windows, punishing passive play on maps with long rotations. Maverick’s Breaching Torch ignores every electronic defense in the game — Kaid, Bandit, and Mute included — rewarding players who use that independence well. Round out the tier with Nomad, whose Airjab Proximity Alarm turns flanks into a two-way threat during plant scenarios, and Solid Snake, whose recon drones pair serious intel with real firepower.
S-Tier Defenders

Mute is close to a free pick: his Signal Jammers counter drones in prep phase, block remote detonations on breaching gadgets, and now interrupt Dokkaebi’s hack entirely. Smoke’s remote-detonation canisters cover a 20-meter radius and, with a coordinated team, can make late-round plants close to impossible. Azami’s Kiba Barriers create unpredictable custom reinforcements and now interact well with Noor’s Horus Lance this season. Kaid extends his Rtila Charges to floors and hatches, making him strictly better than Bandit on vertical sites and the safer solo-queue pick. Jäger’s Magpies remain an evergreen, zero-effort pick that auto-destroy grenades, while Fenrir’s Dread Mines layer denial across sight, movement, and time. Mira’s Black Mirror is still the single best intel tool in the game when placed correctly, and Bandit remains superior to Kaid in premade lobbies thanks to faster electrification.
Notable Movers: Noor, Dokkaebi, and the SMG-12 Nerf

The new operator, Noor, lands in A-tier. Her 2-speed, 2-armor loadout and Horus Lance Launcher fire projectiles that pierce shields and surfaces before igniting, directly countering Blitz, Montagne, and Blackbeard, and doubling as secondary breach denial when placed precisely. She misses S-tier only because shield-heavy rounds are situational, so her value swings depending on the map pool and lobby.
Dokkaebi dropped out of S-tier this season: her Logic Bomb payload can now be interrupted by Mute’s Signal Jammers and requires the tablet active for the full upload, cutting into her solo-queue ceiling even though she’s still strong in premade teams. Elsewhere, the SMG-12 nerf quietly weakens Dokkaebi, Vigil, and Warden’s secondary weapon damage, and Kali picked up scope and cycle-speed buffs that make her more consistent as an anti-gadget pick. Solid A-tier value also sits with Ash (instant Breaching Rounds plus one of the best rifles in the attacker pool, the 553 Commando) and secondary hard breachers Thermite and Hibana, who remain reliable even though their charges are noisier and easier to deny than Ace’s.
