Rainbow Six Siege’s Wasteland Circuit event wrapped up October 12, closing out a three-week drone-racing event tied to Operation Split Fire, the season that launched September 1 with the Egyptian Defender Noor and a reworked Villa map.

Noor's Horus Lance Launcher Counters Shield Operators

Noor, a two-speed, two-armor Defender, carries a Horus Lance Launcher built specifically to counter shield-carrying Attackers: a lance that strikes a shield burrows in and ignites, forcing the attacker to physically move the shield to clear it. Lances embedded in soft or reinforced walls, hatches, floors, or gadgets like Castle’s barricades burn on both sides, while lances stuck in door and window frames only fire on the side they struck. Her loadout options are the Commando-9 or Alda 5.56 primary and the 1911 TACOPS or Bailiff 410 secondary, alongside a deployable shield and barbed wire.

3v3 Arcade and the Wasteland Circuit

Split Fire’s 3v3 Arcade Mode ran September 8–21 with smaller, faster squad matches, followed by the Wasteland Circuit from September 23 through October 12, where players raced drones through obstacle courses to unlock dieselpunk-themed cosmetics. The season’s Villa rework moved the Living Room/Library bomb site from the first floor to the basement with an overhauled layout, alongside visual and destruction upgrades to Stadium Alpha, Stadium Bravo, House, and the Shooting Range.

What's Next

Operation Split Fire remains the current season for the rest of 2026 — Ubisoft has confirmed the next season, Operation Tenfold Pursuit, won’t be revealed until mid-November ahead of an early-December release, so Split Fire’s meta, and Noor’s shield-countering kit, has the run of the map for now. Check Siege’s official Steam store page for the full current patch notes.
