Dragon’s Dogma 2: Dark Arisen Expansion Arrives October 9 With a New Frozen Region and 12 Dungeons

Capcom’s Dragon’s Dogma 2: Dark Arisen expansion arrives October 9, 2026 across PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and, for the first time in the series, Nintendo Switch 2, which gets a complete bundle pairing the expansion with the base game.
A New Frozen Region: The Forsaken Dominion
The expansion adds the Forsaken Dominion, a snowy northern area in the Norgan region, built around 12 large dungeon challenges packed with new enemies, loot, and side stories. Capcom is positioning the content toward experienced Arisen and their pawns rather than newcomers, so expect a meaningful difficulty step up from the base campaign.
New Gear, Relics, and Customization
Beyond the dungeons themselves, Dark Arisen adds unique weapons and relics with standalone abilities and effects, plus fresh hairstyles and tattoos for Arisen customization. Pre-ordering nets a Northern Attire set, matching camping gear, and a bonus music collection.
Pricing and How to Get It
Players who already own Dragon’s Dogma 2 can buy the expansion alone for $29.99, while newcomers can grab the Complete Dark Arisen pack with the base game included for $49.99. A physical Switch 2 release will also be available at retail. If you’re topping up to pre-order on PC or PS5, a Steam Wallet Code (US) or PSN Gift Card (US) will cover either storefront.
