The Blood of Dawnwalker’s Patch 1.1 Adds a Respec Potion, Animal Petting, and Over 1,100 Fixes

Rebel Wolves, the studio founded by former Witcher 3 director Konrad Tomaszkiewicz, has detailed Patch 1.1 for its open-world dark fantasy RPG The Blood of Dawnwalker. The studio is promising more than 1,100 improvements and fixes in the update, which is already live on PC and arrives on PS5 the following week.
What's New in Patch 1.1
The headline addition is the Draught of Mind Rebirth, a new consumable that resets your Swordmastery, Witchcraft, and Vampirism skill points so you can freely reallocate them without starting over. Patch 1.1 also adds a new, easier Story difficulty mode, renaming the previous Story setting to Forgiving, alongside expanded subtitle options, an updated FrameGen implementation with dedicated settings, reworked combat camera movement and animations, and improved enemy targeting, lock-on, and disengage behavior. Traversal abilities Shadowstep and Planeshift get more responsive targeting and surface attachment, and the Japanese Steam version has blood and gore uncensored for the first time. You can even pet animals now.
The patch lands after a blockbuster debut for Rebel Wolves’ first game: The Blood of Dawnwalker on Steam sold over a million copies in its first three days. If you’re jumping in for the first time, Dragon4Deals carries Steam Wallet Code (US) and Steam Wallet Code (EU), plus the full RPG games category for more dark fantasy adventures.
