The Wolf Among Us Remastered Delays Its Switch Version — PC, PS5, and Xbox Still Launch October 29

Switch Version Pushed Back, Everything Else on Track
Telltale Games announced on October 16, 2026 that the Nintendo Switch version of The Wolf Among Us Remastered is being delayed to an unannounced date. Every other platform is unaffected: PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store will still launch as planned on October 29, 2026.
In its announcement, Telltale said it is taking extra time so Switch players get the experience they deserve, noting that this marks the first time the game has come to a Nintendo platform. No new Switch release window has been given; Telltale says it will share an updated date as soon as it can.
What The Wolf Among Us Remastered Is
The Wolf Among Us Remastered is a visual and technical overhaul of Telltale’s acclaimed 2013 noir adventure game, itself based on Bill Willingham’s Fables comic book series. Players step into the role of Bigby Wolf, the reformed Big Bad Wolf now serving as sheriff of Fabletown, a hidden community of fairy-tale exiles living in New York City. The remaster brings updated visuals and technical improvements to the original’s episodic, choice-driven murder mystery.
Picking Up a Copy at Launch
With PC, PlayStation, and Xbox versions still on schedule for October 29, players stocking up for launch day can grab a Steam Wallet Code (US) to pick up the PC version, a PSN Gift Card (US) for PlayStation 5, or browse Dragon4Deals’ Xbox gift card selection ahead of release. Switch owners will need to wait a little longer for Bigby’s return.
