Black Ops 7 Season 6 ‘The Haunting’ Brings Four New Weapons, Zombies’ Tenshu, and a Doom Slayer Event

Call of Duty: Black Ops 7’s Season 6 update is live, and it’s the final major season of the year for Treyarch and Raven Software’s shooter. The update lands across PC, PlayStation, and Xbox simultaneously, bringing four new weapons, five multiplayer maps, a Halloween-themed event called The Haunting, and a meaty Zombies drop headlined by the new Tenshu map.
Four New Weapons Arrive
Season 6 adds four weapons to the Black Ops 7 arsenal. The VMP is a fast-handling submachine gun built for flanking, with a quick fire rate that rewards aggressive close-range play. The TR51 Para is a semi-auto assault rifle with high per-shot damage and a configurable full-auto mode for players who want flexibility between ranges. The Arcblade is a new melee weapon — a high-damage blade with a fast attack speed for closing the gap and finishing fights in a swing or two. Rounding out the season is the Roc 20mm, a semi-auto special weapon firing devastating 20mm rounds that can end a gunfight in a single well-placed hit.
New and Rethemed Multiplayer Maps
Five maps join the multiplayer rotation this season. Quantum is a brand-new 6v6 map set in an Arctic Guild research facility, while Bloodstead is a rethemed, horror-tinted take on an existing 6v6 homestead map. Three additional maps built around Zombies locations are available in limited-time modes, giving Season 6 one of the largest map drops of the year.
The Haunting Halloween Event
The Haunting is Black Ops 7’s seasonal Halloween event, sending pumpkin-headed zombies through the Rogue Run playlists alongside two new multiplayer modes, T.E.D.D. Trials and Hordepoint. Multiple reward tracks hand out operator skins and weapon camos over the course of the event, and a dedicated DOOM Event Pass adds a Doom Slayer operator skin and the Crucible Blade melee weapon for players who complete its challenges.
Zombies Gets Tenshu and a New Directed Mode
The Zombies side of Season 6 centers on Tenshu, a new Survival map set in the fictional city of Kowakujō. Rex Infernus, the mode’s ongoing round-based map, picks up a Directed Mode that walks players through its quests with guided objectives, while Rogue Run adds new pedestal rewards. A fresh Super Easter Egg questline caps off the season’s story content and unlocks the Warden operator for players who finish it.
Where to Play Black Ops 7
Black Ops 7 is available now on Steam, PlayStation, and Xbox. Topping up for Season 6 is easy: grab a Steam Wallet Code (US) for PC purchases, an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate (US) subscription for console, or a PSN Gift Card (US) to spend on PlayStation.
