Marvel Rivals Season 10.5 Patch Buffs Gambit and Phoenix, Nerfs Scarlet Witch in Mid-Season Shakeup

Marvel Rivals’ Season 10.5 mid-season patch (version 20261009) went live on October 9, 2026, and it runs through November 13, 2026. NetEase used the mid-season window to push real ability changes rather than just cosmetics, buffing three Strategists and reworking a chunk of the Duelist roster while reining in a couple of heroes that had been running away with Diamond+ lobbies.
What Changed in the Season 10.5 Mid-Season Patch
The Thing gets more frontline uptime now that his Unbreakable Forces cooldown drops to 15 seconds through the Invisible Woman Team-Up, keeping him glued to The Hood at the top of the Vanguard tier.
Gambit jumped from the middle of the Strategist pack to the top spot: Hearts and Spades now charges in 7 seconds instead of 8, which lets him threaten burst damage far more often. The trade-off is a shorter leash — his detection range for Ragin’ Royal Flush was cut from 40m to 30m, and his Jump Boost fell from 500 to 300, so he needs to stay closer to his team to use it safely.
Phoenix climbed from the bottom third of the Duelist list into the top tier. Cosmic Flames now hits for 65 damage instead of 60, and Endsong Inferno applies two Sparks per hit rather than one — but she no longer heals herself when a Spark detonates, getting a flat 5 bonus health per detonation (capped at 25 over 4 seconds) instead.
Jubilee also moved up thanks to a self-heal added to Sparking Sprint, a Firework Finale that now heals for 180 per second, and a Dazzling Detonation blind window cut from 1.5 seconds to 0.8 seconds.
Iron Man was reworked rather than just tuned: Micro-Missile Barrage now homes in on targets, but only five missiles can lock the same target at once, which trades his old spam potential for more consistent single-target pressure.
On the nerf side, Scarlet Witch lost damage on Chthonian Burst (40 down to 35 per shot) and slid out of the top Duelist tier, while Devil Dinosaur had his base health trimmed from 850 to 825, pushing him from A-tier Vanguard down a notch. Hawkeye got real buffs — a faster Piercing Arrow and a wider first hit on Hypersonic Arrow — but still isn’t pulling him out of C-tier.
Team-Up Synergies Worth Building Around
A few Team-Up abilities are doing a lot of the patch’s heavy lifting. Hulk and Wolverine now share a 45-second Unstoppable window at 400 health, with Wolverine’s Team-Up also boosting Hulk’s Furious-state speed by 25%. The Thing and Invisible Woman share that reworked 15-second Unbreakable Forces cooldown mentioned above, and Phoenix’s Team-Up with Hela cut her own cooldown to 10 seconds, making a Phoenix-Hela backline a lot more sustainable through a fight.
